The feeling of awe when staring at the imposing works and the enigmatic forms of Egyptian art was the reason for our prolonged stay in Giza, the city of Thebes, the Valley of Kings and Nubia.

Time passed by without a notice that we missed our flight to the beautiful island of Crete.
Așa, we postponed our journey to the Minoan labyrinth and the major palace with its joyful frescoes for next time and also booked our tickets with the time capsule of art to the ancient cities of Mesopotamia.
