Presentation of the founder of the Society D. Kakalidis writing work in the Panhellenic Union of Literary Writers
El 18 de mayo, 2010 the Panhellenic Union of Literary Writers carried out an event during which the writing work of the poet and philosopher Dimitris Kakalidis was presented. Accomplished spiritual people and many friends of both literature and poetry were present at this honorary night.
With words full of lyricism and poetical images the author – essay writer and literary critique Ms Eleni Apostolidou – Loukatou presented the philosophical, poetic and essay work of D. Kakalidis, featuring “the fiery esotericism being dominant in it”, as she mentioned.
The “conscious engrossment” of the poet, as Ms Loukatou pointed out, “expands and embraces man, the microcosm, but also the universe, the mega-cosmos with its godly content”. Además de, his final aim is one: through continuous broadening circles of notions, by “lines of dense esoteric essence to lead the reader to high spiritual exaltations”, to highlight man’s spiritual nature, the realization of which may truly lead him to redemption.
Through his “wonderful, shed with ethos work” he invites to “spiritual alertness because through acquisition of freedom and independence a rebirth takes place in the soul and spirit of the person”, as the speaker describes.
A presentation of the writer’s work followed regarding the analyses of Greek poets and literary writers significantly valued by Ms Loukatou as “a work of great spiritual value” and a “globally pioneering spiritual store” with a “vast spiritual significance”. In each analysis D. Kakalidis penetrates into the deeper essence of the work which is consciously or unconsciously expressed by the spiritual creator reading into it in order to discover the ontological notion of the text.
Además de, according to Ms Loukatou’s estimation, the whole of Dimitris Kakalidis’ writing work is absolutely consistent with his life which has been “a work of love” as he has always been helping others to realize and express the power existing within them.
During the discussion that completed the event the present audience congratulated the speaker and occupied themselves with the critiques D. Kakalidis has received for his work by the whole literary, poetic, academic and political world of the country focusing simultaneously on its character of being “ a poetry – celebration’’, as indicated by the presentation.
