The life and work of the Society’s Master Dimitris Kakalidis
On 22 October 2011, in our cosy space, the members and friends of the Society gathered together for an evening dedicated to the life and work of the Master Dimitris Kakalidis.
Those who had lived with him shared with us their recollections and experiences from the moments they spent together. Through their narrations the Master came alive; the Healer; the Poet Dimitris Kakalidis; the one who used to lavishly offer unlimited love and complete interest without ever asking anything for himself; the one who paved the way towards the expression of the infinite potential that lies within each and every human being.
This is what he taught his disciples and continues to teach to this very day – sixteen years after his death – through his teaching, something that was quite obvious from the narrations of younger disciples who did not have the luck to meet him in person.
What a lovely evening indeed, with fascinating recounting of events and experiences of the disciples on how their lives changed completely!
